About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Educator to join our team at YMCA Burleigh Heads Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Service. As an OSHC Educator, you will be responsible for the care and supervision of primary school children before and after school, as well as during school holiday periods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and supervision to children in a safe and supportive environment
  • Assist in planning and implementing engaging and educational activities for children, including arts and crafts, outdoor games, and science experiments
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of programs and services that meet the needs of children and families

Requirements
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • A Positive Notice Blue Card or willingness to obtain one
  • A Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor degree in the field of children's services or a related field
  • A passion for working with children and families, and a commitment to providing high-quality care and education
