About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Educator to join our team at YMCA Brisbane's Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) service. As an OSHC Educator, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to primary school children before and after school, as well as during school holiday periods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a safe and supportive environment for children to learn and grow
  • Plan and implement engaging and educational activities that promote children's physical, emotional, and social development
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues to ensure a positive and inclusive team environment
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of programs and services that meet the needs of children and families
  • Collaborate with other educators and support staff to ensure a cohesive and effective team approach
Requirements
  • Hold a Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor degree in the field of children's services or a related field
  • Have a current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Hold a Positive Notice Blue Card or be willing to obtain one
  • Have a strong understanding of child development and learning principles
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team
