Job Description:

As a Senior RF Engineer, you will be responsible for developing custom microwave/RF electronics and antenna systems to support the development of new quantum sensor prototypes and products. This role requires strong technical expertise in RF engineering and experience with developing circuit boards operating at RF/microwave frequencies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop custom RF & microwave electronics for quantum sensor prototypes and eventual productisation.
  • Design miniaturised RF electronics subsystems based on demonstrated bench-top prototypes.
  • Model and simulate microwave/RF signal transmission to optimise system performance.
  • Design, optimise, and fabricate custom antennas for near-field operation.
  • Ensure electronics systems are ruggedised for operation in the field.
  • Manage the delivery of complex hardware prototypes, taking responsibility for technical quality, performance, and reliability.
