
Enhance Quality of Life as a Senior Activities Coordinator

As a Lifestyle Coordinator, you will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging environment for residents by planning, organizing, and leading social, recreational, and cultural activities. Your goal will be to promote independence, increase quality of life, and empower residents' choices.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to assess and document the effectiveness of programs, track residents' progress, and make adjustments as needed. A Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle is required, with a Diversional Therapy Degree being highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and lead activities that meet social and recreational needs while promoting independence and increasing quality of life.
- Assess and document program effectiveness, tracking resident progress and making adjustments as needed.
- Maintain knowledge of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards, and Outcomes.
- Develop and implement mental health and wellbeing programs that empower residents' choices and independence.
Requirements:
- Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle.
- Diversional Therapy Degree (highly desirable).
- Senior First Aid Certificate (desirable).
- Previous experience within an aged care setting.
- Highly developed organization and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of Work Health and Safety.
