Key Role: Business Manager, Rozelle Precinct And School Of Paramedicine

About the Opportunity

The University seeks a strategic and operational leader to support the Rozelle Precinct and School of Paramedicine. As a key member of the management team, you will provide operational and strategic support to ensure effective business operations.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading operational planning and business management activities for the School of Paramedicine, ensuring alignment with Health and University priorities.
  • Developing and implementing business plans, budgets, workforce/resource plans, and infrastructure strategies.
  • Providing financial oversight, including budget planning, financial reporting, expenditure tracking, and resource allocation to support financial sustainability.
  • Supporting strategic planning and decision-making, providing data-driven insights, key performance metrics, and business intelligence to inform strategic priorities.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A degree in finance, business, management, or a related field, and/or an equivalent combination of professional experience and competence.
  • Proven strategic and critical thinking abilities, with a demonstrated ability to analyse complex issues, identify risks, and provide informed recommendations.
  • Strong business acumen and financial management experience, including budget planning, resource allocation, and commercial decision-making within a complex organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead operational initiatives, manage projects, and drive continuous improvement to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

This is a full-time, ongoing role based in Rozelle (NSW). The successful candidate will be appointed at HEO 10 level and will have a total remuneration package of up to $157,913 comprising base salary plus superannuation.
