Job Overview

This role plays a key part in our Regulatory Compliance function, working closely with the Lead to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will deliver timely, accurate, and insightful analysis of procurement data to support regulatory compliance requirements, reporting, and process assurance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Improve processes and develop comprehensive reporting for areas like modern slavery, sanctions, and First Nations procurement.
  • Create and maintain a robust regulatory compliance procurement reporting suite, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations (e.g. Modern Slavery Act).
  • Work cross-functionally to identify and implement process improvements that enhance stakeholder experience and deliver strategic opportunities.
  • Assess and model assurance exercises on related procurement policies to identify and action areas for improvement.
  • Support relevant procurement business processes by offering information, guidance, and engagement for commercial negotiations.
  • Proactively identify problems and solutions to enhance efficiency and achieve team objectives.
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years' experience in a heavily regulated industry.
  • Commercial, sustainability, risk, logistics, procurement, or legal qualification is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in working with reporting systems like Power BI, Tableau, and Excel.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of procurement ERP systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in procurement, reporting, data, and analytics, with regulatory reporting experience highly regarded.
  • Intermediate-advanced data modelling skills and extensive experience with large datasets and complex analysis.
  • Success in delivering insights through data and analytical solutions and data visualisation.
