About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Market Risk Technology Analyst to join our Market Risk Technology Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in collaborating with our various Market Risk stakeholders and technology teams to understand business requirements, solve complex problems, and create solutions that align with our strategic technology roadmap.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough discovery and analysis to understand, document, and communicate the current Market Risk application landscape and reference data flows.
  • Analyse and document current Integration flows and system dependencies.
  • Facilitate workshops and design sessions for solution ideation.
  • Work with the Engineering team to understand technical landscape and breakdown book of work into workable Epics and Tasks.
  • Elicit, document, and manage programme outcomes throughout the end-to-end project or program delivery.
  • Implementation activities to support the achievement of project or business outcomes such as testing, process mapping, and change transition.
  • Collaborate using agile ways of working with project stakeholders.
  • Partner with other tech teams to resolve dependencies and align on deliverables.
Requirements
  • Prior experience as an Analyst in Financial markets, collaborating with both Business and Technology teams.
  • Experience with the Market Risk regulatory reporting framework.
  • Knowledge of Market Risk Sensitivities, VaR, APS116 & APS117 calculation models, and other Market Risk regulatory reporting framework.
  • Understanding of multiple asset classes like FX & Money market, Interest Rate derivatives, Commodities, and Credit.
  • Experience in working with VBA scripts, Python, and knowledge of MS SQL database is desired.
  • Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence.
  • Capable of leading workshops with stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities.
