About the Role

As a Markets Risk Technology Analyst, you'll play a key role in collaborating with our Market Risk stakeholders and technology teams to understand business requirements, solve complex problems, and create solutions that align with our strategic technology roadmap.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct discovery and analysis to understand, document, and communicate the current Market Risk application landscape and reference data flows.
  • Analyse and document current integration flows and system dependencies.
  • Facilitate workshops and design sessions for solution ideation.
  • Work with the Engineering team to understand technical landscape and breakdown book of work into workable Epics and Tasks.
  • Elicit, document, and manage program outcomes throughout end-to-end project delivery.
  • Implement activities to support the achievement of project or business outcomes, such as testing, process mapping, and change transition.
  • Collaborate using agile methods with project stakeholders.
  • Partner with other tech teams to resolve dependencies and align on deliverables.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Prior experience as an Analyst in Financial markets, collaborating with both Business and Technology teams.
  • Experience with the Market Risk regulatory reporting framework.
  • Knowledge of Market Risk Sensitivities, VaR, APS116, and APS117 calculation models and other Market Risk regulatory reporting framework.
  • Understanding of multiple asset classes, including FX, Money market, Interest Rate derivatives, Commodities, and Credit.
  • Experience working with VBA scripts, Python, and knowledge of MS SQL database is desired.
  • Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence.
  • Capable of leading workshops with stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities.
