**Sergeant Role Overview:**

The Department of Justice and Community Safety seeks a Sergeant to provide critical support in the South East Metropolitan Region.

As a region-wide resource, you will contribute to operational and service delivery, planning, and managing a caseload. You will oversee the effective actioning of warrants, ensuring their clearance, and undertake complex and higher-risk warrant actioning and field duties.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Manage daily operations of Sheriff's officers and Senior Sheriff's officers, overseeing the effective actioning of warrants.
  • Allocate work priorities according to strategic and business plans.
  • Guide and assist Sheriff's officers in undertaking sensitive, complex, and higher-risk warrant execution activities and safe field duties.

**Requirements:**

  • Demonstrated experience and expertise in Sheriff's Operations.
  • Must be deemed competent in enforcing all warrant types.
