Job Title: Senior Visual Effects Project Manager

The role of the Senior Visual Effects Project Manager is to oversee and manage the delivery of visual effects projects from start to finish. This includes assessing creative designs, evaluating technical requirements, working with VFX supervisors, creating efficient workflows, and ensuring project delivery meets technical specifications and creative expectations.

Key Skills and Responsibilities:
  • Assess creative designs including production design and characters, story, camera, animation, and lighting/compositing expectations.
  • Evaluate technical requirements for projects and develop plans for equipment, software, data storage, and backup.
  • Work with VFX Supervisors to maintain the creative look of modelling, surfacing, lighting, FX, and compositing.
  • Create efficient workflows and processes with the Pipeline team.
  • Ensure project delivery meets technical specifications and creative expectations.
  • Implement communication systems, workflow, file systems, and production tracking.
  • Monitor production schedules and identify potential delays or risks.
  • Maintain relationships with key creative and technical crew members.
  • Attend meetings, reviews, and overseas business trips as required.
  • Stay up-to-date on new technologies and techniques.
  • Contribute to company decision-making and assessment processes.
  • Foster open communication and a positive problem-solving approach within the crew.
