We are seeking a skilled Import Specialist to lead our import operations, coordinating shipment activities and ensuring timely cargo movement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate receipt of customer bookings, documentation requirements, and local/international transport.">
  • Lead the planning and execution of seasonal protocols, liaising with origin offices, customs brokers, and shipping lines for compliance and timely cargo movement.">
  • Maintain accurate and timely reporting of import cargo, ensuring visibility across shipments and providing updates to internal/external stakeholders.">
  • Manage handovers and oversee billing activities, ensuring documentation accuracy and alignment with operational timelines.">
  • Implement regulatory compliance procedures for commodities and locations.">
  • Build relationships with CFS and shipping lines to streamline operations, resolve issues, and optimize service delivery.">
  • Resolve day-to-day delivery issues and implement best practices to increase effectiveness and efficiency.">

  • Oversee customer satisfaction at every touchpoint, fostering loyalty and driving repeat business.">
  • Minimise costs and maximise gross profit on every job file.">
  • Resolve operational workflow issues and escalate to supervisor as needed.">
  • Ensure all required documentation is in place as per shipment requirements/SOP.">
  • Provide training and guidance as needed.">
