The ClientAs a provider of end to end logistics solutions with offices spanning the globe this large multinational freight forwarder is looking for an import operator allowing you to apply your experience in sea freight.The PositionAs an Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the import freight forwarding processes across sea shipments.
You will play a key role in ensuring documentation accuracy, liaising with service providers, and maintaining smooth communication.
The Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate import freight forwarding activities Verify documentation provided by shippers, carriers, and other service providers Register import shipments and ensure Quarantine inspections are completed Distribute pre-alerts and relevant documents to clients and stakeholders in a timely manner Liaise with Australian authorities in regards to import clearance Action delivery requests and advise cartage teams to coordinate deliveries Invoice customers and process payments for service providers The RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you require experience in international freight forwarding, along with: Proven import operations experience in freight forwarding Experience in using CargoWise Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities A collaborative, team-oriented approach with strong multitasking skills Full-time working rights in Australia What's On Offer: A genuine opportunity to join a globally recognised freight forwarder Long-term career pathways and development opportunities Flexible work arrangements including hybrid options For further information regarding this position and many more in customs, freight and logistics with FRMSTAFF please contact Jana Geiger on (02) 9313 9*** or visit our website at information
