Electrical and Communications Account Liaison

We are seeking a proactive and committed Account Manager to join our Client Services team, primarily based in the Brisbane CBD.

The role involves cultivating long-term relationships with clients, overseeing minor projects, and ensuring the delivery of electrical and communication services.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Serving as the primary contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met and projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Ensuring adherence to high standards and safety protocols on all project and service sites.
  • Managing financial reports and overseeing client invoicing to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Identifying opportunities for account growth and generating new business within existing accounts.
  • Leading and coordinating project and service teams to maximize efficiency and performance.
  • Preparing and presenting regular reports on account status and performance.
  • Estimating and tendering on project and service work, ensuring competitive and accurate proposals.
  • Resolving client issues and handling complaints in a timely manner.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and market conditions.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure client needs are met.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years post-trade electrical experience.
  • Certificate IV in Project Management or Leadership and Management (or equivalent).
  • Current Unrestricted Electrical Licence.
  • Cablers License (preferred).
  • CPR & LV Rescue Certificate.
  • Construction Industry General Safety Induction.
  • Current Manual Drivers Licence.
  • Proven experience as an Account Manager, Sales Representative, or similar role.
  • Previous experience in job estimating and quoting.
  • Budget management experience.
  • Strong understanding of relevant Australian Standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously and work under pressure.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Skilled in using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project, Outlook) and familiarity with simPRO (a plus).
  • Self-motivated, with a results-driven approach.
