Job Overview

This recruitment pool seeks Clinical Nurses to manage, coordinate and deliver high-standard nursing care to patients in emergency, general and aged care settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain competence as per national competency standards and registration requirements.
  • Deliver advanced nursing care through thorough patient assessments and comprehensive care plans with patients, families and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Coordinate team meetings for safe and timely patient discharge and comprehensive aged care reviews.
  • Lead clinical handovers and safety huddles to promote a culture of safety and quality.
  • Provide clinical supervision and support to enrolled nurses and unregulated workforce ensuring task delegation.
  • Engage in continuous safety and quality improvement initiatives contributing to audits and reviews enhancing patient and staff experiences.
Ideal Candidate
  • Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge in acute, emergency and aged care settings.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with proven experience in team leadership and clinical escalation.
  • Strong background in quality improvement and risk management.
  • Competent in using technology to enhance patient care and communication.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of legislative and regulatory requirements relevant to nursing practice.
