Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, responsive, and individualised care to our residents in a residential aged care setting.

This role includes In-Charge shifts, so we're looking for a confident RN with strong clinical skills and demonstrated leadership experience. You will be the sole nurse on shift, supported by a capable and caring team of care staff.

In this position, you will plan, organise, and deliver care in line with individual Resident Care Plans, while promoting high standards of professional practice. You will also provide clinical leadership, support, and guidance to our Care Staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Leading and Supporting Care Teams: You will lead and support care teams in a residential aged care setting, providing clinical leadership and guidance to our Care Staff.

Care Planning and Delivery: You will plan, organise, and deliver care in line with individual Resident Care Plans, promoting high standards of professional practice.

Collaboration and Communication: You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents, using excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Professional Development: You will have access to ongoing training and development opportunities, including study assistance up to $3,000 per year and development programs like LinkedIn Learning.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Aged care or community services experience highly regarded
  • Strong understanding of evidence-based clinical practice
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and assessment skills
