Executive Leadership Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and accomplished leader to join our organization as Senior Vice President of Technical and Operational Excellence.

This pivotal role will drive high performance across our operations, ensuring safe, sustainable, and efficient delivery of gold ounces in line with our business strategy.

You will lead multi-disciplinary teams across technical services and operational improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development: Set the global technical and operational excellence strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Technical Leadership: Lead technical functions including mining engineering, geology, metallurgy, and continuous improvement.
  • Operational Performance: Drive operational performance improvement programs, targeting productivity and cost efficiency.
  • Innovation and Transformation: Implement technology, data, and automation solutions to transform operations and deliver competitive advantage.
  • Capability Building: Assist with building capability within operational teams, fostering innovation, collaboration, and leadership excellence.
  • Governance and Assurance: Ensure robust governance, risk management, and technical assurance processes are in place across all assets.
  • Safety Leadership: Role model all aspects of safety leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification in mining engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Proven track record in senior technical and operational leadership within mining or processing operations, preferably in hard rock environments.
  • Extensive experience in technical studies, project management, and operational excellence.
  • Prior experience in M&A technical due diligence and/or integration processes.
  • Expertise in financial forecasting, cost control, and quality assurance.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders.
