Estimator Role

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our business. As an Estimator, you will play a key role in the success of our company by working on various tenders and projects across the civil sector.

Responsibilities include:

  • Working on tenders
  • Coordinating internal and external resources
  • Preparation and submission of tenders
  • Evaluation of tender and estimating process for cost effectiveness
  • Tender negotiations
  • Coordination of tender handover to project team
  • Preparation of budgets based on tender submission
  • Assessment and pricing of contract variation orders

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar
  • 3+ years' management experience on civil construction projects with a project value of $5m to $20m+
  • Proven understanding of construction with a hands-on approach
  • Effective problem solving abilities
  • High level of commercial acumen
  • High level of organisation and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
