Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced educator to join our team as a Casual Teacher in Sports and Fitness. This role is ideal for individuals who have a passion for teaching and a strong background in sports science.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing engaging lesson plans and delivering high-quality education practices that cater to diverse learners.
  • Curating teaching materials that meet regulatory standards and training requirements.
  • Fostering a positive learning environment that encourages students to take ownership of their learning journey.
  • Adapting instruction and assessment materials to suit different student needs and environments.
  • Assisting with administrative tasks related to the subjects taught.
  • Contributing to the establishment, maintenance, and review of teaching programs.
  • Maintaining a safe and respectful environment free from discrimination, bullying, and harassment.
About You:

You will be a highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills, able to convey complex ideas simply and effectively. You should possess well-developed research skills, enabling you to select and utilize a wide range of learning resources and assessment tools.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • A recognized Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent qualification.
  • Vocational qualifications at AQF level 5 or above in Sport and Recreation Management, Sport Science, and/or Exercise Science.
  • Vocational currency through work experience from a sport and recreation context.
