You will be responsible for delivering VET Sport and Recreation Curriculum, leading physical activities and coaching exercises that focus on teamwork, communication, leadership, and customer service skills.

You will work closely with other educators to create a positive and stimulating learning environment that promotes student engagement and motivation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver engaging and challenging VET Sport and Recreation programs that meet the needs of students.
  • Lead physical activities and coaching exercises that promote teamwork, communication, leadership, and customer service skills.
  • Conduct assessments and record student progress in accordance with VCAA and RTO standards.
  • Provide guidance and support to students in planning and executing school-based sporting events.
  • Use applied and experiential approaches to engage students and promote deeper learning.
  • Model and teach safe practices, including OH&S procedures and emergency response protocols in sport and fitness settings.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Education or a related field.
  • VIT registration and current police check.
  • Demonstrated experience in teaching Secondary PE/Health and/or Vet Sport and Recreation in a school setting.
  • Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references from within the last 5 years.
