About this Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Teacher to join our team in delivering high-quality Sport and Recreation programs for students aged 15-18.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching Secondary PE/Health and/or VET Sport and Recreation, with experience working with vulnerable youth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver practical and engaging Sport and Recreation programs tailored to students' needs and interests
  • Teach students teamwork, fitness, and leadership skills, while supporting their re-engagement with learning
  • Develop and implement assessments in accordance with VCAA and RTO standards
  • Guide students in organising school-based sporting events and applying risk management principles
  • Provide career advice and support progression into apprenticeships, traineeships, or further study in sport, fitness, or recreation

Requirements:

  • Unrestricted working rights in Australia
  • Current VIT registration
  • Demonstrated experience in teaching Secondary PE/Health and/or VET Sport and Recreation in a school setting in Australia/NZ
