Portfolio Manager Role

In this challenging position, you will play a pivotal part in resolving troubled accounts. You will manage a portfolio of complex customer relationships, collaborating with stakeholders to maximize recovery of impaired loans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage sensitive customer accounts using sound judgment to recommend tailored solutions balancing customer care with business outcomes.
  • Engage with customers over the phone, identify hardship triggers, and work with key stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Ensure all actions comply with regulatory requirements and maintain accurate records for transparency and accountability.

This role relies heavily on stakeholder management skills, liaising with consultants and internal departments. You will also support colleagues by sharing knowledge, assisting with escalations, and fostering a positive team environment.

About You
  • Succeeds in fast-paced environments, approaching every conversation with empathy and professionalism.
  • Prior banking or lending experience, especially involving recoveries or collections, is essential.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, organization, attention to detail, and confidence navigating complex situations are required.
