
Transition Coordinator

The role of Change Management Specialist is pivotal in ensuring seamless transitions and efficient operations within an organization. This individual will be responsible for identifying, validating, and assessing change requirements to guarantee compliance with established protocols.
- Identify potential change requirements, including responding to requests for change
- Validate change requirements
- Assess change requirements
- Categorize changes
- Seek technical, emergency, and deployment approvals
- Conduct reviews of changes, including identifying and conducting formal reviews
- Request re-scheduling and re-scoping of change records
- Close change records
Key Responsibilities
- Attend process forums as required
- Support the process community by cascading information to other process participants and stakeholders
- Identify process continual improvement opportunities
- Receive and respond to hierarchical escalations where required
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in ITSM Change and Release Manager or a similar role
- Minimum Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) AGSVA Security Clearance
- Ability to manage customer expectations
- Ability to mentor junior team members and collaborate with customers and other service providers
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to present complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Practical knowledge of Defence SIAM Change processes
