Delivering exceptional civil engineering solutions requires a unique blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and leadership skills.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in technical civil engineering, with the ability to provide expert advice and consulting services to clients across various projects.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical guidance on road and intersection geometry, drainage, materials, surfacing, and Austroads standards.
  • Demonstrating a deep understanding of fundamental road engineering concepts, including visual road condition assessments and desktop and field inspections.
  • Identifying root causes of engineering problems and developing innovative solutions to address them.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results and meet project objectives.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and colleagues.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A tertiary qualification in civil engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years experience as a Civil Engineer in a related industry.
  • Working knowledge of key software packages, such as AutoCAD and 12d Road Design.
  • Membership of Engineers Australia and relevant professional certifications.
  • Visual road condition assessment knowledge and experience.
  • Supervisory experience and ability to manage civil construction contracts.
