Job Summary

World Courier (Aust) Pty. Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Service Delivery Operator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of medical shipments.

Key Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads packages scheduled for pickups and deliveries

• Verifies the correctness and completeness of consignments during pickups and deliveries

• Allocates shipments and consults with dispatching to determine the best route for timely delivery or pickup

• Compares received materials with documentation to ensure concordance or disagreement

• Ensures data accuracy and processes information in a timely manner

• Organizes collection and delivery of customer shipments, liaising with customers, agents, carriers, and other World Courier offices

• Supports local operations and works closely with internal and external stakeholders

• Adheres to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and takes steps concerning the reception and shipment of materials

Requirements

• At least 2 years of operations experience in logistics, medical, pharmaceutical, and perishable industries

• Strong international and domestic geographic knowledge

• Good knowledge of dangerous goods handling, imports, and exports processes, and statutory requirements

• Proficiency in using the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Demonstrated attention to detail

• Excellent time management and organizational skills

• Sound written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
