Business Development Manager – IT Managed Services

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our organisation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business and IT, with excellent networking and relationship-building skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in cloud services, managed IT solutions, managed networks, and managed mobility
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, peers, vendors, and partners
  • Generate sufficient activity and be accountable for revenue growth and exceeding targets
  • Develop and execute strategic business plans to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Leverage the network to build a strong sales pipeline and opportunities
Requirements
  • A couple of years proven track record of solution selling IT infrastructure managed services, managed networks, and managed mobility solutions
  • Experience and network with mid-market (companies with size 10 to 250 staff) and state and local governments
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales expectations and of 100% accountability
  • Structured enough to put together a business plan to achieve the target and disciplined enough to achieve the targets
