About the Role

This is a key member of the Site Leadership Team offering challenging work across a broad range of HR and IR/ER functions. You will have a dedicated and driven HR team reporting to you and supporting you every step of the way.

As the HR Leader on our mine site, you are a true advisor to the business and a trusted HR professional. Your passion for creating and developing HR strategies and initiatives will influence the culture at our operation.

You will coach and support our leadership team, manage all onsite employee relations matters, conduct investigations, as well as contributing to events such as Family Days that promote and support not only our employees, but our local communities as well.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • A proven track record of HR leadership experience in mining, heavy industry or a similarly complex environment.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, enterprise agreements, and industrial relations.
  • Demonstrated success influencing senior leaders developing high-performing teams.
  • Proven experience in coaching, mentoring and developing HR talent.
  • Exceptional communication, problem-solving and change management skills.
  • Tertiary qualifications in HR, Business or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
