Leadership Opportunity in Healthcare Business Development and Brand Management

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager to provide strategic leadership in driving growth, strengthening our brand, and expanding partnerships.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to expand health services, referral networks, and funding sources.
  • Lead market analysis to guide service innovation, growth, and revenue diversification.
  • Oversee integrated marketing strategies and campaigns for Macquarie University Hospital and Clinics.
  • Strengthen the Macquarie University Health brand and ensure alignment with the University's master brand.
  • Oversee health-related digital platforms, social media, and website content.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clinicians, referrers, stakeholders, and community partners.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of business development and marketing professionals.

  • You are a strategic and commercially minded leader who thrives on building partnerships, developing brands, and delivering measurable business outcomes.
  • With sustained senior experience in business development and/or marketing in the healthcare sector, you bring:
    • Proven success in driving growth strategies and brand transformation.
    • Strong communication, collaboration, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
    • Ability to think strategically, make data-driven decisions, and balance competing priorities.
    • An established network of clinicians, referrers, vendors, and partners within the healthcare sector.
    • A collaborative leadership style with a commitment to mission-driven, patient-centred care.
    • A hands-on approach with a responsive, business outcome, and service-oriented mindset.
    • Relevant tertiary qualifications in marketing, business, administration, or health management (or extensive equivalent experience).
