Home Care Assistant

Our organization is seeking a skilled and compassionate Home Care Assistant to provide essential home help services to our aged care clients. As a Home Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by providing general housekeeping, meal preparation, and personal care services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide home help services such as general housekeeping, meal preparation, and grocery shopping
  • Assist with personal care services including showering, dressing, and mobility assistance
  • Provide complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia

  • Guaranteed hours and shifts
  • Award rate $32.74 per hour + Super + paid KM's

Requirements:
  • A valid Australian Driver's Licence & your own insured, roadworthy vehicle
  • Experience of 3 months or more in a similar professional role, with experience in personal care, manual handling, hoist training, and medications
