Job Description:

Sr. Engagement Manager, Global Accounts Professional Services

We're seeking a Senior Cloud Engagement Manager to lead AWS consultants, partner, and client teams.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of external or internal customer-facing experience in complex project management and IT platform implementation.

You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer needs and define project goals.

Your responsibilities will include leading project teams, managing scope, timeline, and budget, and ensuring goal alignment across stakeholder groups.

You'll also apply judgement and tact to challenge, recommend, and redirect teams as well as manage client expectations during the engagement.

About the Role:

  • Lead individuals, teams or multiple groups and play an active role in analyzing project goals, creating a plan to achieve those goals, and then driving the team to achieve those goals while understanding the client environment and any limitations to execution.
  • Develop and manage project governance plans, project schedules, team goals, defining success criteria, project milestones, and budgets.
  • Create and deliver communication tailored to the audience, ranging from executive level project updates to detailed sprint plans and financial reports.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of external or internal customer-facing, complex and large scale project management experience.
  • 5+ years of IT platform implementation in a technical and analytical role experience.
  • 7+ years of experience working in an IT Professional Services or consulting organization supporting Global companies.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • PMP-ACP Certification or Scrum Master Certification.
  • AWS Experience and Certifications.
