Job Opportunity

The Senior Cloud Engineer will be responsible for architecting and designing AWS infrastructure solutions tailored to technical and business needs.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize AWS services for cost, performance, security, and reliability.
  • Engage with senior leadership to align cloud strategies with organizational goals.
  • Partner with product owners and developers to identify and assess security controls in line with PSPF, ISM, E8, and internal policies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud security frameworks and compliance standards, as well as experience working in high-security environments.

Australian Citizenship with NV1 clearance or higher is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Architect and design AWS infrastructure solutions tailored to technical and business needs.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize AWS services for cost, performance, security, and reliability.
  3. Engage with senior leadership to align cloud strategies with organizational goals.
  4. Partner with product owners and developers to identify and assess security controls in line with PSPF, ISM, E8, and internal policies.
  5. Contribute to the implementation of CNAPP/SASE tooling across cloud platforms.
  6. Work with Azure Active Directory and Azure AD Domain Services for integrated cloud identity solutions.
  7. Develop and test Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to evaluate tools and solutions before deployment in the cloud.
  8. Liaise with agencies to understand current architectures and incorporate them into future designs, including Zero Trust Architecture planning.
  9. Collaborate with cloud providers to ensure feasible and scalable solution architectures.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in AWS architecture and engineering.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security frameworks and compliance standards.
  • Experience with Azure identity services and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Ability to work in high-security environments and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
