About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Manager to join our Digital & Data team at Wesfarmers Health. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for defining and executing the data governance strategy, framework, and roadmap for our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish clear policies, standards, and success measures for data governance
  • Develop a roadmap to enhance data governance capabilities
  • Ensure alignment with Wesfarmers Group requirements
What You'll Do

You will be responsible for continually evolving our data governance roadmap and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement data governance practices, processes, and controls across our organization. This includes driving data mapping across the organization to provide ongoing monitoring of and improvements to data governance maturity. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement process and technical controls that align with our data governance policies and standards.

What You'll Bring
  • Extensive experience in data governance, with a blend of data management, risk management, and security/privacy expertise
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration and influence skills
  • Self-motivated, autonomous, and adept at navigating ambiguity
  • Strong communicator, capable of tailoring messages for various audiences
  • Critical thinker with commercial acumen, balancing governance with business needs
  • Project management skills, including task, resource, and cost management
  • Strategic decision-making and planning expertise
  • Tertiary qualification in Data Management, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or Law
  • Data, Information Security, or Privacy certifications
