Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Specialist Role
At Macquarie, we are committed to promoting and upholding our Appropriate Workplace Behaviour Policy. The EEO team is responsible for investigating concerns related to forms of inappropriate workplace behaviour, developing and maintaining related policies and frameworks, and developing education on appropriate workplace behaviour to managers and staff globally.
This role will see you triage enquiries related to Equal Employment Opportunity matters from HR Business Partners and managers, in addition to supporting the Regional Lead - EEO with case management and investigations. This includes conducting initial conversations with complainants or witnesses, gathering and reviewing case evidence, and assisting with the administrative management of a matter through updating and tracking via the case management system.
You will review and draft EEO related policies and processes, along with reviewing monthly exit surveys and interviews from recent leavers, leveraging your data analysis capability to identify any emerging EEO patterns or trends. You will develop annual training packs and education on appropriate workplace behaviour to managers and staff, both face to face and online.
The role will also see you assist with the coordination of annual projects, such as the Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) report and the preparation of the Board reports as needed, ensuring a comprehensive approach to maintaining and enhancing EEO across the Group.
We are looking for a highly self-motivated individual with a degree-level education in Human Resources, with demonstrated experience as an HR generalist. You will be able to manage competing priorities with a high degree of organisation and self-direction, and possess strong verbal and written communication, coaching and influencing skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Triage enquiries related to Equal Employment Opportunity matters
- Support case management and investigations
- Review and draft EEO related policies and processes
- Develop annual training packs and education on appropriate workplace behaviour
