Role Overview

The Workplace Relations Officer will play a key role in promoting and upholding Macquarie's Appropriate Workplace Behaviour Policy. This includes investigating concerns related to forms of inappropriate workplace behaviour, developing and maintaining related policies and frameworks, and developing education on appropriate workplace behaviour to managers and staff globally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Triage enquiries related to Equal Employment Opportunity matters from HR Business Partners and managers
  • Support the Regional Lead - EEO with case management and investigations
  • Review and draft EEO related policies and processes
  • Develop annual training packs and education on appropriate workplace behaviour
  • Assist with the coordination of annual projects, such as the Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) report

Requirements

  • Degree-level education in Human Resources, with demonstrated experience as an HR generalist
  • Ability to manage competing priorities with a high degree of organisation and self-direction
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse stakeholder group at all levels in the organisation
  • Strong verbal and written communication, coaching and influencing skills
  • Well-developed data analysis and numeracy skills with the ability to translate insights into actionable reports
