Civil Engineer Role Overview

This is a senior position in the civil engineering field, responsible for applying essential engineering expertise to diverse projects across various locations. The successful candidate will work on multiple tasks, including design management, engineering assessment, project coordination, stakeholder engagement, and construction phase duties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform design and project management tasks for land development and infrastructure projects.
  • Prepare and update civil engineering documentation, including design reports, cost estimates, specifications, tender documents, programs, and schedules.
  • Apply civil engineering knowledge to various works, including engineering drawings, calculations, reports, and design criteria.
  • Conduct site supervision and quality control inspections of civil infrastructure and land development projects.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in civil engineering, project management, and/or site supervision of land development and civil infrastructure projects.
  • Engineers Australia Membership or eligibility.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in relevant legislation, standards, and guidelines.
