Skilled Carpenter Wanted

We are seeking a skilled and experienced carpenter to join our residential building team. As a family-run business, we value quality, integrity, and a pleasant work environment.


About the Role
  • At least 6 years' experience in residential building and renovations
  • Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent
  • Proficiency in carpentry with own tools and reliable vehicle
  • Well-mannered, well-dressed, and respectful to colleagues and clients
  • Able to work efficiently both independently and in a collaborative team

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Built and installs structural elements including framing, and subfloors, ensuring all parts are level and correctly aligned
  • Read architectural drawings, designs, blueprints to construct and build structures and buildings
  • Build, install, renovate, or repair various fixtures and frameworks using timber, metal, and composite panels
  • Attaching fascia boards, securing external cladding, and installing windows and door frames
  • Maintenance of concrete formwork
  • Sources and organises timber and construction materials, setting out initial layouts accordingly
  • Shapes and trims components, joins them with fixings, and assembles them into position
