**Job Summary**
As a skilled logistics professional, we are seeking an energetic and hard-working individual to join our receiving team. This full-time position involves operating electric forklifts and pallet jacks to move merchandise, ensuring delivery vehicles are secure, and completing daily safety checks.
The successful candidate will have a current forklift license, relative and recent experience in forklift operation, and excellent communication skills. They will also be able to work rotating shifts, including weekends, and maintain the highest standards of safety and organization in the receiving dock.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate electric forklifts and pallet jacks to move merchandise safely and efficiently.
- Ensure delivery vehicles are secure and safe.
- Complete daily safety checks on equipment and facilities.
- Receive and transfer merchandise from delivery vehicles to the receiving dock.
- Maintain the highest standards of safety and organization in the receiving dock.
- Current forklift license.
- Relative and recent experience in forklift operation.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Able to work rotating shifts, including weekends.
This is a full-time position with guaranteed 38 hours per week and great rates and employee benefits. The ideal candidate will be energetic, hardworking, reliable, and timely, with a commitment to providing excellent member/customer service.
