Job Overview

As a logistics professional, you will play a vital role in our company's success by ensuring the timely and efficient transportation of goods. You will be responsible for operating A-Double Tippers and Tankers, conducting thorough pre-trip inspections, and adhering to schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Running A-Double Tippers and Tankers
  • Conducting thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle roadworthiness
  • Ensuring timely and efficient pick-up and delivery of freight
  • Accurately completing electronic reporting systems and other required documentation
  • Complying with all company/site policies and state and national transport regulations
  • Adhering to load restraint guidelines to ensure freight is securely transported

Requirements:

  • A valid MC Licence with minimum of 2 years' recent Australian driving experience
  • Experience with tippers or tankers highly regarded
  • Sound knowledge of the regional areas or interstate routes
  • Providing a full 5-year demerit point history report
  • Completing Visy Practical Driver Assessment
  • Excellent communication, time management skills and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork
  • A comprehensive understanding of road, fatigue, and load restraint laws
  • BFM Certification - or willingness to obtain
  • Pride in the presentation and maintenance of trucks and equipment
