Job Summary:

As a Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in enabling data-driven operations.

About the Role
  • You will design and maintain robust data ingestion pipelines.
  • Manage secure and efficient data transfers into systems.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of data to support core business functions.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Providing ongoing support for data infrastructure.
  • Monitoring data platform performance and recommending infrastructure enhancements.
  • Designing and implementing ETL pipelines using CI/CD methodologies.
  • Contributing to the development and deployment of solution designs and big data platform strategies.
  • Communicating technical updates and project priorities to leadership.
  • Investigating and resolving data-related incidents promptly.
Key Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Mathematics, Information Technology, Mechatronic or a related field.
  • Significant experience in data management across cloud platforms, data lakes, warehousing, analytics, and business intelligence.
  • Proficient with BI and analytics tools such as Databricks, SQL Server, Power BI, R, and Python.
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing, big data architecture, data streaming, and virtualisation.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Strong development skills in Python and SQL.
  • Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
