Job Opportunity: Associate Legal Counsel

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Legal Counsel to join our team in Sydney, Australia.

The successful candidate will provide legal support for our operations across Australia and New Zealand (ANZ), acting as a trusted advisor to our Sales teams. Key responsibilities include reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements, monitoring legal and regulatory developments, and supporting procurement and vendor contracting.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and negotiate commercial agreements, including enterprise licensing agreements, reseller and distributor contracts, and professional services engagements.
  • Monitor legal and regulatory developments in ANZ, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Support procurement and vendor contracting, in line with our policies and legal requirements.
  • Contribute to global and regional legal initiatives and process improvement projects, working collaboratively with internal partners.
  • Requirements:
  • Legal practitioner in Australia with 3-5 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Experience in technology licensing contracts, intellectual property law, and privacy is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrates the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and integrity.
  • A proactive, creative self-starter with strong initiative and a solutions-focused attitude.
  • Collaborative teammate with excellent interpersonal, communication, and business partner management skills.
