Financial Reporting Specialist

GenesisCare seeks a highly skilled and motivated Reporting Accountant to join its Finance team.
The successful candidate will deliver accurate and timely financial reporting, with a focus on lease accounting, capital expenditure, and financial reporting.
- Manage lease accounting in accordance with IFRS 16, including recognition, remeasurement, and disclosure of right-of-use assets and lease liabilities.
- Maintain the lease register and ensure accurate monthly lease journals, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Manage end-to-end accounting for the Engineering department.
- Assist with the group consolidation process, including intercompany eliminations and reconciliation of subsidiary results.
- Support preparation of quarterly reporting deliverables to investors and lenders.
- Monitor compliance with accounting policies, accounting standards, and internal controls.
- Act as a key contact for external auditors and be heavily involved in the day-to-day running of the year-end audit process.
- Oversee the Capex and Projects Accountant in tracking and reporting capital expenditure across the business, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve financial reporting processes, systems, and controls.
