  • This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team as a Financial Reporting Manager, playing a pivotal role in ensuring the company meets mandatory standards and produces high-quality financial disclosures.
Job Description:">

The successful candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders to develop robust climate-related financial reporting processes, providing technical input and supporting the preparation of Group climate-related financial disclosures. Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, identifying controls to support climate-related financial disclosures, and mentoring team members to support their professional growth and development.

">Required Skills and Qualifications:">

To be successful in this role, you will need to have extensive financial reporting and accounting experience, preferably from an Insurance or Banking background. You should have excellent technical accounting knowledge – AGAAP/IFRS with a focus on standards relevant to our business. Additionally, strong project management and planning capabilities, proven experience of dealing with people at all levels in the organisation, and strong stakeholder management experience are essential.

You will also need to possess strong analytical skills, including the ability to analyse requirements, identify opportunities for improvement, and provide commercial and practical application. As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for providing expert support and challenge for finance activities and offering accounting advice for any business cases developed to support climate transition plans.
