Accounting Reporting Specialist

We seek a seasoned accounting professional to deliver high-quality financial reporting and analysis services.

  • Prepare and review comprehensive financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Support seamless month-end and year-end close processes, including meticulous reconciliations and accurate journal entries.
  • Maintain the integrity of general ledger accounts, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to established protocols.
  • Assist in preparing tax filings and statutory reporting requirements, utilizing expertise in relevant regulatory frameworks.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to provide insightful financial analysis and recommendations.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support audits by providing required documentation and responding to queries in a timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies, promoting a culture of transparency and accountability.
The Ideal Candidate
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Be studying towards or a qualified CPA or CA candidate.
  • Proven experience in financial reporting or general ledger accounting, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, with excellent analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience in the retail industry is highly regarded.
