Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Health Promotion Officer to join our team at the Women and Newborn Health Service (WNHS).

About this role

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly capable and values-driven professional to play a key role in promoting and improving the health of WA women and community.

  • Plan, implement, and evaluate statewide health promotion initiatives to maximise participation in the National Cervical Screening Program.
  • Assist in the implementation of strategic priorities and key functions of WNHS.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing effective health promotion strategies to address under-screening and never screening among WA women.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to achieve program objectives and outcomes.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting on program progress and achievements.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as public health, health promotion, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in health promotion, program management, or a related field.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
