Vocational Specialist

About the JobWe are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Vocational Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team. As part of this role, you will provide individualized support to adults with mental illness, helping them achieve their educational and employment goals.
The successful candidate will work closely with participants, community workers, and other stakeholders to co-design career profiles and vocational plans. They will also provide education, vocation, and employment support, as well as conduct job development and job search activities.
Key responsibilities include case management, liaison with Centrelink/DES or Workforce Australia providers, and post-placement planning and in-work support.
Requirements- Relevant tertiary qualification
- Experience working with adults with mental health needs or disabilities
- Knowledge or experience in employment services or social inclusion services
- Demonstrated knowledge of Individual Placement and Support evidence-based supported employment
- A salary aligned with Level 4 of the Ruah Enterprise Agreement, starting at $88,372 per annum
- 5 weeks annual leave + 17.5% annual leave loading
- 16 weeks paid parental leave
