We are seeking a skilled professional to lead our innovation agenda and drive the development of new products.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams, ensuring that the voice of the consumer is heard, and driving the successful delivery of innovation projects.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive innovation strategy to drive business growth
  • Collaborating with external sourcing teams to identify and evaluate viable innovation opportunities
  • Leading due diligence on external innovation opportunities to deliver strong technical recommendations
  • Providing technical support and project leadership for identified innovation opportunities
  • Driving and maintaining awareness of scientific literature and competitive intelligence

Requirements

  • A strong leader who can drive innovation agendas with cross-functional teams
  • A strong technical understanding of the requirements to deliver innovation to the marketplace
  • Ability to navigate technical complexity inherent in the role and understand regulatory, quality, and safety implications
  • Experience of partnering with regulatory, product development, supply chain, and clinical development teams
  • Degree in chemical, pharmaceutical, or related science (food science)
  • MS or PhD degree preferred
