Job Title: Head of Digital Preservation
Location: Australia
The National Film and Sound Archive seeks a highly skilled professional to lead its digital preservation strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for progressing the overall strategy and leading the team that contributes to its delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the NFSA's Media Asset Management and Collection Administration Systems
- Create and manage preservation workflows
- Conduct hands-on digital preservation and forensic activity across a diverse range of media
- Co-design the integration of collection data with other business systems
- Develop training programs and documentation
Requirements:
- Proven experience in digital preservation and management
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills
- Ability to design and implement effective preservation workflows
- Excellent communication and project management skills
