The Department of Parliamentary Services is seeking a skilled professional to join the team in Design Integrity and Special Collections.
About the Role- Manage the transfer and processing of Australian Parliament House records from the historic AUSPIC collection into a Digital Asset Management System.
- Coordinate and catalog resources integral to the design and construction of APH within the APH Archive.
- Collaborate with colleagues across DPS to ensure accurate management and cataloging of AUSPIC records.
- Conduct research to enrich metadata, ensuring efficient retrieval of material in the DAMS system.
- Participate in projects enhancing the digital delivery of products and services.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of services, meeting the needs of parliamentary clients.
- Experience creating and editing descriptive and rights metadata according to guidelines.
- Previous experience working with digital asset management systems.
- Good attention to detail, research, and problem-solving skills.
