Job Overview

The Operations & Student Engagement role plays a crucial part in ensuring international students feel supported throughout their stay. Key responsibilities include student services, booking management, property oversight, and operational tasks.

The ideal candidate has a strong customer service mindset, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to build meaningful relationships. Prior experience in accommodation settings such as hostels or hotels and familiarity with property management systems (PMS) like Cloudbeds is preferred.

Main Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary contact for international students, addressing inquiries and concerns.
  • Assist with onboarding and orientation for a smooth transition.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure students receive necessary support.
  • Develop programs to enhance student engagement and satisfaction.
Booking Management
  • Manage reservations and room allocations to maximize occupancy and revenue.
  • Utilize Cloudbeds or similar PMS for efficient booking and record-keeping.
  • Address booking inquiries, cancellations, and modifications promptly.
  • Ensure seamless communication between students, staff, and accommodation partners.
Property Management
  • Oversee daily student housing operations and facility management.
  • Conduct regular inspections to maintain safety and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams and contractors for repairs and upkeep.
  • Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for operational efficiency.

This role requires a strong customer service focus, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
