Mechanical Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team. As a Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for performing mechanical repairs and maintenance on key underground mining equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Disassembling, inspecting, diagnosing, repairing and reassembling mechanical components
- Following work instructions, repair specifications, and job cards to ensure quality and compliance
- Conducting functional testing and inspections to verify safe operation post-repair
- Accurately completing service and repair documentation
- Reporting any faults, delays, or safety concerns to supervisors promptly
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience with heavy equipment overhauls, ideally in underground mining
- Strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding skills
- Ability to work independently while also contributing to team goals
- Good communication skills and ability to follow procedures and report accurately
- Competitive hourly rate: $58.41 per hour (open to negotiations based on experience)
- Day shift only: Monday - Thursday, 6:00am - 4:00pm
- Enjoy three-day weekends, every week
- Be part of a supportive team working on advanced and critical equipment
