Job Title: Mechanical Equipment Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Mechanical Equipment Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing machine diagnostics and repairs, testing and adjusting of equipment in operation, and auditing & reporting of underground equipment.

The role involves working closely with clients to understand their needs and provide training and assistance as required. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Performing commissioning of new equipment on clients' sites
  • Conducting regular maintenance inspections and reporting
  • Providing technical support and training to clients
  • Assisting in the development of maintenance programs
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery
Requirements:
  • Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical including Drug & Alcohol screen
  • Flexibility to travel to various sites as required
  • Current Australian driver's licence and the ability to work in Australia
  • High technical /mechanical aptitude and a proven high level of customer service
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and good understanding of computer systems
  • Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) experience and field service exposure will also be highly regarded
